"KARMA" ~ it works!

What you give ~ comes back to you! It's true; its real; its physics and it's called "KARMA". Life is an energy exchange of giving and receiving, so the way to have what you want is to give what you need!! This happend to me on friday~every friday I drive through Tim Horton's and 'pay it forward' or you might say 'pay it back'~I buy the person behind me their coffee. Anyway, I saw that the person behind me was an elderly lady. When I got to the window to pay, I told the girl I wanted to pay for the lady behind me~she said hers was $5.61 and mine was $4. Holy Crap~I was thinking, she got breakfast not just a coffee! But I laughed and thought 'what the heck is 5 bucks, right? I told the girl to tell the lady "Have a great day'. I drove away slowly so I could watch the reaction~that's the best part of paying it forward~the look on someone's face or the reaction is priceless! She almost jumped out of her seat and started waving out her window at me with the biggest grin ever! That put a smile on my face too. When I got to work, I was in a great mood, gave the girls their coffee's I bought them and told them my story~that then put them in a great mood. Then I opened the mail~2 wedding invites and 2 cheques! Someone had sent me $300 for the Orphanage to put towards the school bus we want to buy! WOW~I'm thinking~I just spent $5 on someone and $300 came back to me! Got to LOVE that Karma!! Everyone should try it~put a smile on someone's face, make a difference in someone's life~get off your butts and PAY IT FORWARD~it feels GREAT!

A Masai Village

A stop at a Masai Village is ALWAYS a fun and eye-opening experience! There will be dancing and singing and moments of OMG~are you kidding~NO way!! Especially when you need to use the 'Masai Washroom'...a hole in the ground with sticks around it, which is supposed to be the wall, but when you are squatting and doing your thing everyone can see and hear you through the stick wall and all you can do is laugh and wish you would have just @#$% your pants instead!! But a definate MUST! The Masai Tribe is a very colorful nomadic tribe of Tanzania proudly wearing their traditional plaid colors of of reds and purples. They herd cattle, goat and sheep and move every 2 years to find new grazing land and water. The more cattle you have the more powerful you are in the Tribe. They live solely off the herd~drink the blood & drink the milk and eat the meat. The woman do ALL the work (what else is new, that's what happens in my Tribe) including building their own house of cow dung and grass. The woman also make all the beautiful beaded art work that both the men and woman wear. The boys at age 14 become warriors and for 8 years they will herd and protect the cattle and protect their families. After being warriors for eight years they are MEN and will marry and do nothing but sing and dance for tourists and breed (similiar to some of our tribes). The men have up to 9 children with several wives and the children do go to school. The Masai live a very simple life and seem very happy! They have no mortgage and get a new house every 2 years; they don't buy soap, toothpaste or toilet paper~what's the point, they have no water! They only shower and wash when they find water~which is usually only once a month! They don't have alot of anything but one thing they all have~a cell phone!! Seriously, I do not understand that one! So, should you visit a Masai Village? ABSOLUTELY!! Just have lots of hand sanitizer handy when you leave because they are so grateful you visited that they will shake your hand and remember they don't use toilet paper and they don't wash for a month!!
