Visitor's are Welcome

WHEN you come to visit 'Karim Orphanage' and I say WHEN, because I know you will one day, all come and visit~this is where you will stay! The new home of 'Karim' is located in a small community only 10 minutes from the big city of Arusha, with a beautiful view of Mt Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro. The house is powered by solar so, YES, you do have lights and outlets so you can charge your camera's and phone's. The volunteer/visitor room can sleep up to 6 people~3 bunk beds complete with sheets, pillows and mosquito nets. A new pillowcase can be bought for a price of about 50 cents if that is what you would prefer but I assure you everything is cleaned and washed before you arrive. The volunteer room also has a couple of coolers so that you can keep your water, pop and beer cool. You have your own washroom, which we just tiled on my last visit there, complete with 2 toilet stalls, 2 shower stalls and sinks. The dining room has 2 big tables where everyone sits together and eats Rehema's awesome African meals. Rehema and Dada, our hired help, are great cooks! The kitchen, also just tiled recently, has a stove, run by propane, a small fridge run by solar, sink, and a storage room for her pot/pans and food. So, all of this, for only $15 a night, which includes your food too! You do have to buy your own water, pop, beer etc and your own toilet paper! Now, where in this world can you stay for that price?? And I guarantee, it will be a 'visit' like no other~ a visit full of fun and laughter, great food and great memories ! The smiles you will put on these children's faces when you arrive and stay with them, will be the single most important memory, not only for them, but for you as well. So, just do it, book now. You wont be disappointed! We are booking up fast. We are booked up solid until the end of August, then in october and then already in February 2012. I was once told, 1 week before I left for my very first trip to Africa, by Daniel Zopoula, the founder of Bridges of Hope, "Be Careful, not for your safety, but when you go once, you will become addicted to the Love for Africa". I am headed back to Africa in October for my 5th trip!!
