A Rafiki House~like no Other!

Well, I leave again in just 2 sleeps! Feels like I just got home and unpacked~oh ya, I did, November 5th!! I will be in Arusha and stay at Karim Orphanage for almost 2 months this time. What a great VISIT I will have. So excited! I will be there for about a week by myself to get the next project organized and ready to go. The next project~Water Tank & Tower! I will get all the materials and the fundi's (contractor's) organized so that when Cianna, Marilyn & Jean arrive, one week after me, we are READY to go. While this is going on, I will be finishing up the previous Project, the 'Rotary Rafiki House' that we started while I was there in October/November. The shell of this house went up while I was there last time and now I have some painting to do as well as some furnishing to do~ beds, table & chairs, couch & chairs, stove & fridge! The Kitchen cupboards, bedroom closets and bathroom vanity were specially designed and installed. The entire house will be tiled and will be completed while I am there. I have SHOPPED for 2 months, now, for decor for this 'Rafiki House'. I brought back some Masai and African material and had my cousin, Darlene, sew some curtains, cushions, aprons & oven mitts for the Rafiki House. I have bought sheets, pillows, towels, shower curtains, mats, kitchen utensils, zebra lamps, candles, pictures, etc. YES, it will be COOL and it will be CUTE~it will be a 'RAFIKI HOUSE' like no other! I have more 'stuff' for this house in my suitcase's then I do clothes!! Good thing I left most of my clothes there last visit. It is booking up fast! All of February, March and April are booked as well as June and August, September October. So,PLEASE let me know when you want to go!! I will keep you updated and post LOTS of pictures of the the updates of the Rotary Rafiki House and the new water

well, watertank & tower while I am there for the 2 months. Hope you all enjoy the snow and the -39 weather~I believe it is about +32 in Africa right now. WOW~ that sucks!!
