She will take it with her when she goes to Africa next friday with her Mom for 2 weeks to meet the children of Karim. While there, she will plant it in the ground where the 'Rafiki House' will start contruction in October. The RAFIKI House!!
~Well, I was notified a few days ago and it is official now! The Rotary Club of Lethbridge, Urban Spirits, loved the idea of the 'Rafiki House' (rafiki meaning friend in Swahili and a much better name than Volunteer House) and they will be funding the entire construction of the House! WHOO HOOOO !!!! Thank you Danielle and all you "Rotary Urban Spirits". This is the PERFECT project for both Rotary Urban Spirits and KaRiM cHiLdReN CaRe CeNtRe! This 'rafiki house' is where our friends, who want to volunteer and help change someone's life, will stay. This 'rafiki house' is what will help Rehema and help make Karim sustainable forever!
