Our neighbor is one of THE hardest worker's I have ever seen. His name~ Ernest, or better known to everyone around here as 'Baba Ellie'. Ernest i
s 32 years old, has a wife and a son named Ellie. He has no job and the only work he gets is when I hire him to do work around here. He is so appreciative and saves every dime so that he can build a house. When I pay him he goes out to buy a few more blocks to add to his house. You can see in the background of the picture of Ernest and I, the start of his house. He is such a GOOD, Honest guy and I love him to pieces. I want to give Ernest a job of being the new school bus driver for Karim when they get their own school bus but he did not have a drivers license because of course, he could not afford that. Driving school is $200 and is for 3 months. So I sent him the $200.00 Ernest past with flying colors! He is so proud of his Driv
er's License and was SOOOO excited to show me. As a thank you gift, Ernest bought me a wooden carving of a Mesai Mama and her child. He brought it out to me and said "Thank you,Mama, You are a good Mama, here is a gift", well the tears started to flow and I was speechless. I really wish they wouldn't buy me gifts but I did not want to hurt his feelings and he was so proud of that driving certificate, I excepted it with a big smile and lots of tears. I will treasure it forever, knowing I have changed one more person's life. It makes my heart smile when I can put a smile on someone's face! :)
