~a pajama party everynight before bed!
I made it safe and sound once again. When I left here last time, back in November, we moved the girls into the volunteer room, so that the boys and girls would be finally separated. So I am sharing a room with the girls until the 'Rafiki House' is done. When I arrived, the girls were already sleeping so I just crawled into bed and went to sleep, as I was exhausted from the long trip. About 630 am the giggles and the whispers started "Mama Linda, hapa sasa" Mama Linda, hapa" This means "Mama Linda is here now!" They were quite excited to find me sleeping in their room in Salma's bed. Salma is away at boarding school and only comes home once every couple months. One night after putting on our pajama's I showed them some excercises that I do before bed~BIG mistake! They think excercise is FUN and they want to do it every night now. I guess that is a good thing for me because now I HAVE to do them. So after supper, about 730-8pm we go to our room, brush our teeth and when I sit on my bed, exhausted from a long hot day, the girls are after me "get up Mama, it's excercise time" So we do some sit ups, push ups, bicycle ride and when we are done I am hot and sweaty and ready for bed. But NO! Now the girls want music so we can dance! So we put on Dancing Queen and Mama Mia and some Michael Jackson and then we dance. After an hour of this, it's 9-930pm and waaay past their bed time. We have to get up at 5am so they are usually asleep by 8-830. It's a pajama party every night! There are hugs & kisses and 'I love you's" the lights go out and everyone goes to bed with a smile on their face!
