Happy Mother's Day

Yes, it's that time of the year again ~ time to run out and buy that perfect card, that special gift, order some beautiful flowers or even make that reservation at your favorite restaurant for that special Mom! All of that is special and very thoughtful and fun but, I would be more thankful for a fun day spent with my children, an extra big hug or even a special phone call! And Yes, you must know, my eyes still light up, everytime my children enter the room! I am so honored and truly blessed to Be a Mom,
to the world's greatest kids! I love all my children with my whole heart and would absolutely do anything in this world for them. I am so proud of each and every one of them!  I grin from ear to ear and my heart skips a beat when I hear that name 'Mom'.

I am still very blessed to be able to celebrate 'Mother's Day' with my Mom!  I am, who I am today,  'strong and determined' because of my Mom! I don't say it enough but "Thanks, Mom, you are the Best and I Love You to pieces"!

I am also a 'Nana' to the most beautiful granddaughter and cutest grandson ever! They love me, dont judge me and tell me all the time "Nana, you are not the boss of me"!

I am truly blessed to be 'Mama Linda' to 16 of the most amazing orphans in Tanzania, Africa. These children have truly changed my life more than I have changed their's. They need me and love me, as much as I need and love them.

I would like to send out a very Special 'Happy Mother's Day' and big heartfelt hugs to some certain ladies in my life!  To my Mom, Elizabeth, who is not only the best Mom, but a Dad as well, and single handedly raised us all! "I love you".  To my sister, Diana, who is also my best friend, "you are one of the best Mom's I know".  To Rehema, who at 30, has given her life to raising and caring for 16 children when no on else could, "I love you to the Moon and Back".  To my best friend, Gina, who lost her Mother and sister, way too soon, "those boys are, oh so, blessed to have an Aunty like you"! To my Grandma Tokai, who was one the world's best Grandma's "I miss you dearly".

Embrace today and this moment, as it is the only moment we are guaranteed!  Today is a gift, that is why it is called the 'present'! So smile a little bigger, hug a little longer and laugh a little louder this weekend, with that special Mom in your life!

To all you Mom's, Mama's and Nana's out there, I salute you all and wish you all, the very best Mother's Day ever!

Happy Mother's Day!
Love, Mama Linda xo
