T. I. A. ~ This is Africa

               T. I. A.  ~  This is Africa

~Just because things are done a different way, it doesn't mean it is the wrong way ...... the end result is usually the same!

This is the laundry room on wash day!

This is called a security system...broken bottles on top of the wall!

This is shoe shopping at the local shoe market!

                                        This is car pooling!

This is the local furniture store!

This is a beautiful sunset in Tanzania!

This is a local fish stand!

This is outdoor fun and excercise!

This is a local grocery store and local transportation!

This is one of the Best Christmas's ever!

This is pure 'Happiness'....having a toilet!

This is lunch ~ fried fish heads!

This is a traffic jam...more donkeys and goats than cars!

                          This is laundry day!

This is daycare~carrying your baby around on your back while you work!

This is furniture shopping with a friend!

            This is considered a luxury...having a refridgerator!

This is how the eggs are delivered!

This is where we buy roasted corn...at the local corn stand!

This is where we buy bananas...at the local fruit stand!

                             This is a bubble bath!

This is sometimes a school bus ~ sometimes we walk!

This is real manual labour ~ digging a 40 foot water well, with a shovel!

This is a walk through the neighborhood!

This is why I do this......for the big hugs!  It makes me smile inside and out, knowing that I am changing lives!  It is not about 'giving',  it's about giving yourself!
